What is Turn IT Green?
Turn IT Green is a visionary sustainability initiative designed to prolong the life of corporate devices across three distinct users—businesses, charities, and end-users. By fostering a community that benefits from different life stages of a device, Turn IT Green not only leads to substantial IT cost savings but also aids in achieving ESG goals while significantly reducing CO2 emissions associated with manufacturing. In this initiative, Innovent plays a crucial role as the guardian of assets from Day 1 until the device is responsibly disposed of, ideally after a remarkable 7+ years of service.
How do we extend the useful life of devices?
The journey toward a sustainable technology approach involves a disciplined refresh strategy.
After the initial 3 years of a device's life, it returns to Innovent for a meticulous refurbishment process, leaving it as good as new and ready for a second user—be it another business or charity. Innovent provides full warranty support for the life of the subscription, typically an additional 3 years. After this second period, the device undergoes a light refurbishment, making it ready for a third user through our ecommerce channels. This user receives a 1-year warranty and the option to return the device to us for sustainable disposal when its time comes.
